In the morning, we visited the Xijin Ferry Scenic Area in Zhenjiang, drove away from Zhenjiang, crossed the Runyang Yangtze River Bridge between Zhenjiang and Yangzhou, and arrived at the famous scenic spot in Yangzhou - Slender West Lake.
It is said that there are 36 scenic spots called West Lake in China, with the most famous being West Lake in Hangzhou. Slender West Lake is renowned both domestically and internationally for its long history, profound cultural heritage, and unique landscape architecture. The name of Shouxi Lake is said to be derived from the poem "It is also a pot of gold, so it should be called Shouxi Lake". Yangzhou has a long history, and there are also many famous poets and calligraphers who visit the Slender West Lake, leaving behind many poems. Some poems have made famous people, while more poems have made Yangzhou famous. I like poems like "The lone sail casts a distant shadow on the blue sky, only seeing the Yangtze River flowing in the sky" and "A thousand sails pass by the sunken boat, thousands of trees in front of the sick tree in spring", but more often than not, there are poems like "Three parts of the sky are bright moon nights, and two parts are scoundrels in Yangzhou".
