The distance from Wulingyuan (East Gate) to the South Gate of Forest Park is 18 kilometers and 23 minutes 'drive. You can take a taxi or take a round-trip bus from Wulingyuan Bus Station. The fare is 10 yuan and it runs every half an hour.
Arrive at the Nanmenkou Parking Lot and get off the bus, pass through Wu Guanzhong Sculpture Square-check in to the South Gate, and walk 5 minutes to Dayuan Bar Square
Turn left along the highway to Laomowan Parking Lot, take the scenic bus to the Huangshizhai Cableway Exit Station
If you climb the mountain by foot, you will reach Huangshizhai and cross the small bridge of Laomowan. It will be the entrance to the mountain.
Take the cableway to the top of Huangshizhai Mountain. You can walk left or right when you exit the cableway and start sightseeing on foot. You can visit along the Grand Loop Line or the Small Loop Line
Observation platforms with wide views are all on the Grand Loop. If you have enough time, it is recommended to take a stroll along the Grand Loop.
Take the cableway down the mountain or walk down the mountain from Liuqige to return to Dayang Bar Square. This is the upper starting point of Jinbian River. You can continue to walk along the stream path and finish Jinbian River. Take the scenic eco-vehicle and leave the scenic area from the east gate.
Or just walk a short section of Jinbian River and return the same way to exit the scenic area from the south gate
There is a round-trip bus from Nanmenkou to Wulingyuan East Gate
